The event was a luxurious one, not taking place in Bucharest, but in Budapest, where their godparents were Irina and Marius Vizer, the Romanian-Austrian businessman, former judo practitioner, and president of the International Judo Federation since 2007.

Dressed in a long white wedding dress, Valentina Pelinel was pregnant at the time with twins Rania and Indira. The celebrity already had a son with the businessman, Milan, who is now seven years old.
Now, five years after their marriage, the celebrity declares for Playtech: “September 30th is the day we united our destinies in front of God. I was pregnant with Rania and Indira, but that didn’t stop me from having fun until morning with my husband, our godparents, our family, and close friends.”

At the same time, she confessed in another interview the secret to her relationship with Cristi Borcea. Valentina Pelinel says that she didn’t marry the businessman for his social status and money, especially since they signed a prenuptial agreement at the beginning of their marriage. “You want to know the truth? What I have never said publicly? We have separate assets.
I’m not in this relationship for my husband’s assets. He provides us with all the conditions, for me and the children, I have nothing to reproach him, we lack absolutely nothing, but what is between us is not just about money,” Valentina revealed in the discussion with Nasrin, in the podcast hosted by her close friend, Nasrin Ameri.
In the same podcast, Valentina Pelinel admitted that she gave up her modeling career for a life with Cristi Borcea. “I was already a well-known international model. It’s not a secret that I made money. It’s normal to make money at that level. I had an apartment in New York, and at an age when I could do whatever I wanted without children. And the man I chose to be with was in a difficult situation, which I knew about, and he warned me that it wouldn’t be easy. Well, if I had chosen the easy way, wouldn’t I be on a plane to New York? What was I lacking? But I missed him. I wanted him. And I sacrificed everything, and I didn’t make a mistake.”
Cristi Borcea spoke on the Fanatik SuperLiga show about what Valentina Pelinel endured for their relationship. “She endured a lot. I had all three of the younger children while I was in prison. I was on those furloughs. You had to work, attend courses to be able to get furloughs,” Cristi Borcea revealed about the period when he was in prison.
