Furthermore, it is the 13th time that the legendary Serbian tennis player advances to the US Open semifinals. The former ATP leader is seeking his 4th US Open trophy. In the semifinals, Djokovic will face the revelation of the tournament, American Ben Shelton (47 ATP).
The 20-year-old player has defeated names like Thiem, Karatsev, Paul, or Tiafoe on his way to the semifinals. It will be the first meeting between the two athletes. The date and time of the match will be announced by the organizers.

In the other semifinal on the men’s side at the US Open, Carlos Alcaraz (1 ATP) and Daniil Medvedev (3 ATP) face each other. It is the fourth confrontation between the two players, and the world leader leads 2-1 in head-to-head matches.

Coco Gauff – Karolina Muchova is the first semifinal on the women’s draw at the US Open. The host’s favorite is in great form and has won 10 consecutive matches. Cincinnati 2023 champion, Gauff (6 WTA), has defeated Siegemund, Mirra Andreeva, Mertens, Wozniacki, and Ostapenko at the US Open.
