Will Marius Ștefănescu Leave for FCSB? Hagnagy: “We are a small team, anything is possible”
Attila Hadnagy, the general director of Sepsi Sf. Gheorghe, said on FANATIK SUPERLIGA that Marius Ștefănescu is up for sale and Sepsi won’t be able to keep him if Gigi Becali comes with an important offer:
“Any player is transferable. Every player has a price. If there is a fair offer for Ștefănescu, of course we will sell him. We are a small team, of course we need money.”
“We needed the money we received for Dumitrescu as if it were air. It was 1 million euros. I cannot say how much we ask for Ștefănescu. If he scores 10 goals by winter, of course we will ask for more than a million for him.
“But I’m not thinking about what will happen in the winter. Until then, 100% he won’t leave, I hope not even in winter. But we’ll see what happens, anything is possible. We need to regroup because we are not on a good path,” Hadnagy said.
Becali: “If he deserves it, if he plays well, I will pay 1.5 million for him”
Gigi Becali announced on FANATIK SUPERLIGA at the beginning of September that he is willing to pay up to 1.5 million euros for Marius Ștefănescu. The FCSB owner claims that every owner tries to sell for as much as possible, which is normal:
“If he deserves it, if he plays well, I will pay 1.5 million for him. People shouldn’t be judged, it’s their ‘merchandise’. Right now, he is asking for one and a half million, good for him for asking for his money. Bravo, I like Dioszegi,” Becali said.
FCSB is the leader in the SuperLiga, with 25 points. The only mistakes made by the vice champion were in Arad, with a score of 1-2, and in the rescheduled match against Hermannstadt, with a score of 2-2. CFR Cluj has 19 points, but has played two fewer matches.
