Smiley surprizes his fans this autumn with a new release. The artist has launched a song in English with a unique mix of reggae and synth-pop sounds.
Smiley releases “Days of Summer” for the global music market, a song in English with a unique blend of reggae and synth-pop sounds. This song is part of a larger project that the Romanian artist has been working on for several years, since he has been composing and working in Los Angeles and London alongside big names in the global music industry through Romdrops, the international division of HaHaHa Production.
“It is a song that speaks about nostalgia. The title ‘Days of Summer’ is a figure of speech for the beautiful days when their relationship was perfect,” says Smiley.

“It is a song that I made four years ago, from my heart, just the way I like it, together with Chopsticks, as part of my international project that I continuously work on, alongside the songs in Romanian,” he adds.
“It is a pleasure for me to compose what I feel and release what I love, beyond long-term goals and big plans. I have many songs composed in English, with people from outside the country, and I want to release one of them from time to time that holds a special place in my heart,” declares Smiley.
Featuring music and lyrics written by Smiley and Chopsticks, who also handles the musical production, “Days of Summer” boasts a unique music video, with an illustration that combines digital elements with canvas painting, created by the renowned visual artist Victor Fota, representing the new wave, and animated by Robert Jianu.
