Smiley experienced an unfortunate incident around 12:30 in the area known as the “Potato Resort”, where there is a speed limit of 50 km/h, a limit that the artist apparently did not see and …fell into sin, reported the local press. [source]
As the recorded speed was at least 50 km/h higher than the posted speed limit sign, Smiley was required to surrender his driving license to the Tulcea police for the next 90 days.
The 90-day suspension penalty can be reduced to 60 days, provided that the artist takes an exam for this purpose.
