British bomb disposal teams are training Ukrainian engineers to clear minefields at a military base in Poland.
The Ukrainians have been assisted in clearing large anti-tank mines, smaller anti-personnel mines, and other deadly devices planted by Russian forces, according to the BBC.
UPDATE 02:00 – Latest bombing
Russia is bombing six communities in the Sumy region, firing nearly 80 rounds from various types of weapons, as reported by the Military Administration of the Sumy Region on Telegram.
Meanwhile, Russia claims that two Ukrainian drones have been shot down over the Kursk and Bryansk regions.
Poland has prepared transit corridors that will allow Ukrainian grain shipments to pass through its territory and reach the countries in most need, said President Andrzej Duda on Sunday, as reported by CNN.
The Polish government has joined Hungary and Slovakia in expanding the ban on cheap Ukrainian grain imports, which they say undermined local farmers.
Speaking on Sunday, Duda declared that Poland will still assist the shipments in reaching their final destination.
