Despite ongoing negotiations, Putin made a surprise visit to a command center in Kursk, an area bordering Ukraine, where he ordered troops to eliminate remaining Ukrainian forces and reassert full control over the region. “It’s essential that we restore pre-existing conditions along our borders,” stated Putin firmly, donning military gear.
The Russian president stressed the importance of swiftly achieving all operational objectives and liberating Kursk from enemy presence as quickly as possible. His message was clear: eliminate the enemy completely and restore peace to the border region.
