What’s Up has made his first statements after images of him and his partner, Micky, in a church during their wedding ceremony surfaced.

WOWbiz.ro published images from the church where the religious ceremony took place, with the artist dressed in a white suit and the bride looking extremely elegant.

Micky wore a princess dress and chose to wear a veil on her head. The artist wore a white suit, but replaced the shirt with a white t-shirt and the shoes with a pair of sneakers. What’s Up denies the fact that he got married for the third time.

“I heard that people say I got married. In reality, my dear ones, we are at our second take this summer(…) Many people thought we got married, but we simply filmed a music video for a new song because lately, after the pandemic, we have been attending a lot of weddings.

We really like weddings, I often talk about myself and the What’s Up band(…) We needed to have a proper filming for the music video. I always get nervous when filming a video, I love music, and I will be devoted to it for my whole life,” immediately after leaving the church, What’s Up told Spynews.ro.

What’s Up has been married twice, his first wife being Simina Ivancea, to whom he publicly apologized for his mistakes in their relationship. It happened on Cătălin Măruță’s TV show on Pro TV, where the TV host was also the singer’s godfather.

“My ex-wife keeps bothering me to publicly ask for forgiveness. I apologize for hurting you, but you have also hurt me, and we shouldn’t hide behind masks. The important thing is that we remained friends, I wish you all the best and to be happy,” the artist said.

After divorcing Simina Ivancea, What’s Up tried to start a family with Alice Badea. Eventually, they broke up.

What What’s Up said in April of this year

In April of this year, What’s Up stated that there was no one in his life and that he wasn’t thinking about marriage.

“There is no one in my life, and I don’t want to complicate things for anyone, I think that’s the word. I believe I have never been mature enough for a relationship. I have also never been mature enough for this music industry, but somehow, since I started dedicating all my time to this musical path, I noticed that I can be more mature in these choices, and probably when I finish this crazy journey with music and dealing with the people around me, I will find my other half and have time to dedicate to a proper family.”

“I don’t believe there is any person, either man or woman, who doesn’t need to find their other half on the journey of life, because otherwise, God would have created us all gender-neutral, and none of us would be searching for anything,” What’s Up declared, according to Wowbiz.
