Captivating Departure: Denis Brînzan Leaves Viitorul Târgu Jiu
Within the realm of Viitorul Târgu Jiu, a void emerges as the captain from the previous season decides to part ways. The team from Gorj is facing challenges in assembling a competitive squad for the upcoming championship.
Denis Brînzan has chosen not to extend his contract with the unit led by Călin Cojocaru due to an offer that fell below his expectations. The Gorj midfielder is now a free agent and is in negotiations with multiple teams. Brînzan had been playing for three years at the club owned by Nicolae Sarcină.
“I offered them the first chance to renew here, but the offer I received was not what I had hoped for. I would have liked to continue with Mr. Cojocaru and his staff because we had a very good relationship. I wish for stability at my next team, to play football for pleasure, and to achieve excellence,” stated Brînzan.
At 27 years old, the Gorj footballer also has in his resume stints with Pandurii Târgu Jiu, FC Argeș, and CSM Reșița.
