Mihai Neșu monitored the training of FCSB before the match against FC Bihor in the away game of the first round of the Romanian Betano Cup group stage.

The former FCSB player, who is in a wheelchair due to an accident suffered while playing for Utrecht, came to see the current FCSB players during the training session.
He lives near Oradea, and during the training, he had a lengthy conversation with Mihai Stoica. He closely observed Charalambous’ players.
Neșu was not the only one attending the training session. FCSB live-streamed a part of the training, and approximately 300 fans were spotted at the edge of the field.
11,000 tickets were put on sale for the match at the Iuliu Bodola stadium in Oradea on Wednesday, at 9:00 PM. They were sold out immediately, resulting in a sold-out stadium in Oradea.
FCSB without three stars in Oradea
FCSB will not use three regular players in the match in Oradea. Florinel Coman, Adrian Șut, and Risto Radunovic did not travel with the team.
Gigi Becali hopes to see Dan Spătaru in action in this match, the player loaned from Brașov this summer. The owner even joked in his characteristic style, making a reference to the singer that the footballer shares his name with.
“Now, in the cup match, three players are coming home. Olaru said he doesn’t want to go home, he wants to stay with the team. Coman, Șut, and Radunovic will stay home. Others will play, children, Dan Spătaru. Let’s see how he sings, does he sing well?,” said Gigi Becali.
Becali might also see Mihai Lixandru in action, a player he appreciated after the 5-2 victory against Sepsi OSK. He mentioned that Tavi Popescu might return to the left flank.
“I liked seeing Lixandru, that I can rely on him. A player who in a year or two you will see who he will become. That’s what I liked, that I discovered a player, Lixandru, whom I heard about but didn’t know well.
With Tavi, it’s possible to have a comeback, now let’s see how he can play there on the left,” said Gigi Becali.
