Marcel Ciolacu, the president of the Social Democrats, spoke about politics, stating that he does not have enemies in politics, but rather adversaries and colleagues. He emphasized that he does not support the creation of a political alliance similar to the USL, as he does not consider any alliance to be valid without confirmation or denial. Ciolacu also mentioned that when he makes promises or decisions, they are final and do not change.
Ciolacu expressed his willingness to support a local project if it is approved by the residents of the area. He referred to the example of Timiş and Timişoara, indicating that if the two major parties find suitable personalities and an important local project that is embraced by the people, he would be open to it. However, he emphasized that this decision would not be solely his to make, but would also require the acceptance of the party’s leadership and the local population. He also mentioned that the same principle applies to general elections, but currently, no such project or alliance exists.
