Miruna Pascu has told the judges that she panicked when she heard that her son could have a difficult life in prison and be abused. “I realized what happened. I’m sorry. I was scared. Information appeared from various sources: through the press, on social networks about threats against Vlad. Various incarcerated individuals have said they will attack him, rape him and take away his package,” Miruna Pascu declared in front of the judges, according to Realitatea Plus.
Furthermore, the woman claimed that her family is not extremely wealthy and does not own hundreds of properties in Bucharest, but it is a name coincidence between Mihai Pascu and another real estate developer.
Miruna Pascu also argued that she should be released in order to take care of her other son and to offer support to Vlad, considering that his father is not allowed to get close to him or his mother.
