Ionuț Luțu, FCSB’s Right-Hand Man, to Become Sole Associate and Administrator of Becali Hotels SRL
FCSB’s former footballer has been named the right-hand man of Gigi Becali. The owner of the “red and blues” has chosen to appoint his trusted man as the sole associate and administrator of the firm Becali Hotels SRL, granting him full powers within the company.
Ionuț Luțu Enrolls in Sports Director Course
Still, it seems that Ionuț Luțu is aiming for more, setting his sights on an essential position within FCSB’s structure. He has enrolled in the sports director course organized by the FRF from March 19 to November 28.
The sports director course will be an intensive program, spanning approximately a year, divided into nine working modules. Five of these modules will be held in physical format, spanning three days each, while four will be conducted online.
The first course session will take place from March 19 to 21. Topics covered in the course will include introductory notions on the role and responsibilities of a sports director, as well as aspects related to management, leadership, football vision, data, innovation, and technology.
The inaugural edition of the course is dedicated to the 16 clubs in the SuperLiga, as starting from the 2025-2026 season, a licensing regulation amendment will stipulate the mandatory inclusion of this role in the clubs’ organizational structure.
List of Participants in the Sports Director Course
“The teams in the SuperLiga must send a representative to this course, while another 4 spots are reserved for clubs in Liga 2. In case a club is promoted from Liga 2 to the SuperLiga without having a course graduate in its organizational chart, the club will receive a one-year dispensation if it enrolls in the 2025 course.”
Each club can send a maximum of one representative to this training. To support the professional transition of Romanian players, 5 spots are specifically allocated in this course for former internationals wishing to pursue the role of sports director.”, as stated on frf.ro.
