Dinamo – Farul was a match between the need for power of Ovidiu Burca’s team and the opportunism of Gica Hagi’s team. As expected, the better team won, even though they played with one less player for over half an hour.

“Turbulence as in Baboi’s courtyard”, as Romanians say, was created to determine where Dinamo – Farul should be played. We are unique in this regard. In Bucharest, money, time, and signatures were found to build new stadiums, National Arena, Rapid, Steaua, Arcul de Triumf (initially for “exclusive” rugby)…
…Only the most central stadium, in the heart of European capitals, Dinamo’s stadium on “Ștefan cel Mare” boulevard, was bypassed and humiliated. And it still is. After 2000, there were some “delicate” problems with some “inflated” bills related to what was done on the “open and forgotten” construction site, unfinished by the sports club. The problem was there, not at FC Dinamo or Nicolae Badea, as the press falsely claimed.
These problems, irregularities, thefts, or whatever you want to call them, prevented or delayed the signing of the “documents” necessary for the reconstruction of the old “Groapa”. I have reported on these issues, just like in the case of the scammer Șerdean Dorin, many years before he was finally arrested for more recent fraud investigations. But no one cared to shake him well when he was building his image and other privileges on the back of Dinamo…
Returning to the Dinamo – Farul match, all sorts of options were proposed for the location of the match, and in the end, they ended up playing on the rugby field near Arcul de Triumf. The “sullied” House of Ovalia by the King’s Sport. We are not unlucky, we like to torment ourselves. It’s an understatement to say that we scratch our left ear with our right hand. Once again, “as no one else does”, as Virgil Economu said in the 1930s, which continues to characterize us as an ancestral curse.

In the first half, Dinamo seemed better organized on the field than the inconsistent creation of Gica Hagi, Farul, this season. The confrontation was balanced, with 2-2 chances in the first 15 minutes, Neluț Roșu (4′) and Amzăr (15′) vs Mazilu (2′) and Artean (5′).
At Farul, not only the team considered better, but rare are the premeditated attacks. The “All the King’s Men” (what a movie, what a cast, truly… royal!) no longer had the superiority in possession as in the past. That’s why they rarely reached the “dogs'” penalty area.
It was enough, however, for the wasteful talent with the physical ability to move on the field in search of the ball, Budescu, to meet the “crow” at around 14 meters, in the 33rd minute. He did what he knows best, to hit the ball in such a way as to “disable” Golubovic. And Farul took a 1-0 lead at halftime.

In the second half, the distribution setups changed. Ovidiu Burca switched Dinamo to a 4-4-2 from a 3-5-2, and Gica Hagi strengthened the wings, the only areas from where danger could come for the “dogs,” forming a 5-3-2 from a 4-3-3.
In the 63rd minute, Kiki saw the second yellow card, and Dinamo had an extra player for over half an hour. Naturally, Hagi regrouped his team into a defensive 5-3-1, the “dogs” pushed their lines towards Aioani’s goal, dominated, created opportunities to equalize – Politic (68′), Lucas (76′), and especially the double chance for Lucas – Costin (86′), but Farul scored and closed the match through Vână (90′), after finding a gap among the defense and sealed the match.
The luck from the victorious matches against Botoșani and Voluntari is no longer present for Dinamo, which wants but cannot. Of course, there was great enthusiasm that turned into bitterness in the stands, empty verbal propaganda without content and facts, financial market robbery between the “administration” and the “technical” side, only passes between the penalty boxes on the field – that’s all the former glorious team from “Ștefan cel Mare” presents now.
If Dinamo’s headquarters are now a place of insolvency, the performance is bankrupt… The conclusions are up to you, dear readers, whether you are fans of the “red dogs” or not, who have been struggling more and more for years…
