Eric de Oliveira, George Tănase, Iulia Albu, and the comedic couple Nae Alexandru and Cristi Simion will make a sensation on the comedy show stage, and even the special judges of the edition couldn’t escape their acidic roasts. Ciprian Marica was mocked at iUmor by one of the most acclaimed actors.
“The man who never throws in the towel, no matter how tough it gets!” That’s how Ciprian Marica was introduced on the iUmor stage, a character brilliantly portrayed by actor George Tănase. This alludes to the moment when the former footballer was caught by a woman’s husband, leaving the room wearing only a towel around his waist.
Florin Răducioiu, Helmuth Duckadam, Florin Gardoş, and Ion Crăciunescu are the judges of iRoast, in a special edition of iUmor dedicated to Romanian football and broadcast on Antena 1 just before the Romania-Kosovo match, tonight at 8:30 PM, according to Antena 1.
He captured the judges with his attitude as soon as he stepped onto the set: “You don’t need to say anything anymore!” Florin Gardoş told him, while Florin Răducioiu added: “You’ve already said it all!”
In turn, Helmuth Duckadam referenced George Tănase’s chosen moment: “I’m friends with Marica, but I’ve never asked him about this subject. I only had one question: if I were in his place, why would I leave the room?”
The judges themselves didn’t escape the comedian’s acidic jokes, as they experienced firsthand the treatment of the roast gallows, and in the end, George Tănase justified his choice:
“I came in this white towel to convey a message, to make peace with quality football, to not be so hostile… It’s true, life sometimes catches you off guard in a hotel room, but maybe we also want to score a goal!”
The judges were won over: “I laughed until my teeth hurt! Very good performance! Number one!” revealed Florin Răducioiu in the special iRoast edition.
