Chef Cătălin Scărlătescu fell ill at Chefi la Cuțite
Fans of the culinary show Chefi la Cuțite were on the edge of their seats last night. During the first Boot Camp challenge, things became extremely complicated. Cătălin Scărlătescu needed a break.
What exactly happened? The challenge seemed simple at first glance, but for some it was complicated. The contestants had to prepare a sandwich. Some chose the classic one, while others went for omelette.
And so the tasting began at Chefi la Cuțite. It didn’t last long, and chef Cătălin Scărlătescu fell ill. While tasting the dish with eggs, he said he didn’t feel well.
“I can’t handle eggs anymore… I need a break at least. Come on, hold my hand, I can’t stand those eggs. I feel sick!”, said Cătălin Scărlătescu during the tasting.
Florin Dumitrescu intervened
His colleague, Florin Dumitrescu, also intervened. He advised Scărlătescu to take a break, and the judge followed his advice. After a few minutes, he started to recover.
Despite this, the moment was worrying for those on the set of Chefi la Cuțite, but also for the fans of the show who watched with their hearts in their mouths to see what happened on the set.
Further on, the tasting continued, and each judge played their part. Chef Sorin Bontea, for example, showed more motivation than ever to win this season of the culinary show on Antena 1.
“I have every reason not to let my colleagues win! So far, there hasn’t been a season where I didn’t have a finalist, and I have won 6 out of 11. I hope to be just as inspired in season 12. And it’s not just about winning! I want to break records! To build a team in my style!”, said Sorin Bontea.
