Carmen Iohannis a luat parte în acest weekend la un eveniment, la Întâlnirea Internațională a Sașilor, desfășurată în perioada 2 -3 august. L-a însoțit pe președintele Klaus Iohannis îmbrăcată într-o rochie care nu e creată de un designer român.
La majoritatea evenimentelor publice la care a participat, multe dintre ele în străinătate, Carmen Iohannis a purtat ținute elegante, fie rochii fie costume create de designeri români. De ani de zile colaborează cu creatoarea de modă Eli Lăslean, dar și cu Andreea Tincu.
Iată că de data aceasta, la evenimentul la care a luat parte în acest weekend alături de Klaus Iohannis, Prima Doamnă a purtat o rochie albă cu imprimeuri creată de Tury Burch, o casă de modă americană, care a luat naștere în anul 2004.

Articolul vestimentar ales de Carmen Iohannis pentru Întâlnirea Internațională a Sașilor de la Sibiu costă 4.049 de lei, însă pe unele site-uri de modă poate fi găsit la reducere la prețul de 3.239 de lei. Prima doamnă și-a accesorizat ținuta cu sandale deschise la culoare, cu o poșetă albă, dar și cu perechea ei preferată de ochelari, cu care a apărut în ultima perioadă.
În dressingul ei, Carmen Iohannis are mai multe genți de la case de modă cunoscute, are poșete de la Chanel, dar și Dior.

La sfârșitul lunii iulie, președintele României, Klaus Iohannis, s-a deplasat la Paris pentru a participa la marea deschidere a Jocurilor Olimpice, fiind însoțit de soția sa, Carmen Iohannis. Evenimentul, mult așteptat de întreaga comunitate sportivă internațională, a avut loc într-o atmosferă festivă, unde lideri din întreaga lume au fost prezenți pentru a susține sportivii din țările lor.

Pentru această ocazie specială, Prima Doamnă a ales să poarte o rochie de vară albă cu maci roșii. Rochia pe care Carmen Iohannis a purtat-o este semnată de casa de modă Dolce&Gabbana și are un preț de aproximativ 1.500 de euro.
Aceasta și-a completat ținuta cu sandale negre și o geantă elegantă de la Christian Dior, evaluată la 2.850 de euro.
