Breaking News: Alain Delon, Legend of Cinema, Faces Legal Troubles as Firearms Found on Property

A shocking revelation has emerged from the estate of Alain Delon, the 88-year-old iconic actor, as authorities have uncovered a cache of firearms without the necessary permits. The prosecutor of Montargis, Jean Cédric Gaux, disclosed in a statement that Delon did not possess any authorization to hold firearms at his property in Douchy-Montcorbon, Loiret department.

The investigation was initiated following a report by the custodian judge on February 8, signaling that during a visit, it was observed that Delon was in possession of a firearm. Subsequently, a search was conducted on February 22, leading to the seizure of a staggering 72 firearms, including those classified under “Category A” (military-grade weapons) and “Category B” (sporting and professional use), along with over 3,000 cartridges.

The probe uncovered the existence of a shooting range on the premises during the search, shedding light on potential illicit firearm storage and acquisition practices, prompting legal action for illegal possession and storage of varied weapon categories.

Recently, Alain Delon’s daughter, Anouchka Delon, disclosed in an interview the actor’s profound interest in firearms, revealing the extensive collection within their home. Anouchka Delon mentioned that her siblings used to roam the house armed, evoking a Wild West ambiance during their time at Douchy.

In late January, Alain Delon was placed under judicial protection, granting him the ability to conduct certain activities with restrictions, barring significant decisions such as property transactions, delegated to a designated representative.
