Anda Adam Criticized for Parking Incident in Cluj: Controversey Surrounds Club Inauguration
Anda Adam, a well-known artist, and her husband, Eudor Yosif Mohaci, faced controversy recently due to a parking incident in Cluj. Two years ago, the couple inaugurated an exclusive club in Cluj with an investment exceeding 100,000 euros. The unveiling event was marked by extravagance, as a luxury limousine greeted guests and a red carpet led the way to the club’s entrance.
However, the couple expressed disappointment over the lack of recognition from the residents of Cluj for their efforts and substantial investment. Anda Adam highlighted that the locals did not appreciate an artist from Bucharest investing in Cluj to provide them with a place for entertainment. Despite their significant investment, they faced harsh criticism, primarily stemming from a brief parking incident.
Anda Adam emphasized her charitable nature and assistance to people with disabilities. She defended her parking decision by stating that the particular spot she used was well-suited for individuals with disabilities, and there were ample designated spots available in the vicinity.
The controversy escalated as Adam shared her perspective on the situation, mentioning that the first three rows in the mall where she parked were solely designated for handicap parking, far exceeding the actual demand for such spaces. She further elaborated that the criticism she faced was disproportionate considering the ample availability of handicap parking spots.
Addressing the public reaction, Adam recounted, “People complained, saying, ‘Sir, you’ve created so many handicap spots, but we doubt there are that many people with disabilities who need to park simultaneously!'” The situation was exacerbated by the fact that, on the day the photo was taken, only a fraction of the handicap spots were in use, with a significant number remaining unoccupied.
Reflecting on the incident, Adam defended her actions by pointing out that she needed only a brief moment to make a purchase in the mall, given her tight schedule. She mentioned that out of the numerous available handicap spots, she utilized one temporarily, leading to severe backlash.
Despite the controversy, Anda Adam expressed her fondness for Cluj and its residents, praising their ability to enjoy themselves. Her comments were made during an interview hosted by Denise Rifai, as reported by Cancan.
